  • Tie a knot in the tail end of the thread and string on three pearls and one half of the clasp.
  • Make a half knot to secure the clasp to the thread.
  • Make another half knot and pull tight.
  • Thread the needle through the first pearl closest to the clasp.
  • Slide it up snug to the knot at the clasp, then make a half a knot.
  • Pull the knot tight. You can apply some adhesive to the knot now, while it is exposed.
  • Thread through the second pearl and make a half knot as you did for the first pearl.
  • Thread through the third pearl in the same manner.
  • Trim the tail close to the pearl.
  • String on all but the last three pearls and begin knotting between each of them.
  • When you reach the end, add the last three pearls to the strand and the other half of the clasp.
  • Make a half knot at the clasp.
  • Position the tweezers where you want the knot to be.
  • Make another half knot and pull it tight at the clasp.
  • Thread the needle through the first pearl.
  • Make a half knot between the first two pearls closest to the clasp.
  • Pull the knot tight.
  • Go through the next bead and make a knot like you did for the previous pearl.
  • Weave the tail through the next pearl and trim it close to the pearl.
  • Ā The knots will add even more security.
  • You should end up with a knot between each pearl.
