What is ASSURE? The ASSURE Program offers reliable, third-party evaluations for Diamond Verification Instruments, ensuring confidence in your diamond purchases. These instruments differentiate natural diamonds from lab-grown ones, crucial for accurate disclosure throughout the supply chain.

How It Works:

• Testing: Instruments are rigorously tested with challenging samples, including both natural and synthetic diamonds.
• Updates: The ASSURE 2.0 program, launched in 2022, features enhanced testing methods and results are published in the ASSURE 2.0 Directory.

Key Metrics:

1. False Positive Rate: Ideal is 0% (no synthetic diamonds misclassified as natural).
2. Referral Rate: Ideal is 0% (no unnecessary referrals).
3. Accuracy: Ideal is 100% (all diamonds correctly identified).
