Mould Rubber Soft Flex Grade Rubber pliable and well suited to fine delicate work and thicker moulds. Strips 73x457x6mm Sold per strip OR per 15 piece sealed pack.

Castaldo Gold Label^® contains high volume of pure natural gum rubber, to provide essential properties of a softer and more pliable mould. Saves labor costs when working with difficult moulds containing undercuts, where a stiffer mold would break delicate wax patterns. Very important to read the instruction manual to guarantee long mold life.  Vulcanizing Temperature: 330 degrees F (166 degrees C) Shrinkage: 1.5%

Moulding rubber:

Castaldo Econosil® Jewellery Moulding Rubber is a harder, firmer & flexible silicone jewellery moulding rubber at a lower cost. Firmer moulds mean less variation in final cast weights, greater detail & less distortion. It’s ideal for filigree & fine detail. Shrinkage is 1.1%.

Other options of liquid moulding silicons are available that do not need to be heated in a vulcaniser but rather air cure.

Mould frames

These precision made frames will maintain their shape & dimensions under maximum temperatures & load variations. Frame openings are made to accept all standard mould rubbers available. Sprue formers,Scalpel handles & blades are a must when making moulds for mass production.
