Use with distilled water. Use Pyrex dish and plastic spatula or wooden spoon. Still wear protective clothing and gloves. No emissions are inherent but still undertake all preparation in a well ventilated area.  The most important thing to remember when mixing the solution is to always add the patina to the water and not the other way around.
