Finding a gemstone in the ultrasonic

Working in hot water trying to find the gemstone that rattled out in the Ultrasonic Cleaner is a tedious process.

Rather than throwing the cleaning liquid out it is much easier to shine a torch through a tall glass or jar. Hovering just above the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaner, you have a clear visual on the contents at the bottom. Once you’ve located the missing gemstone you can retrieve it with a long pair of tweezers.
